Scholarship Program
The Das Rec Scholarship Program provides fee assistance to New Braunfels residents with financial hardships and grants the opportunity to experience Das Rec programs and services at a reduced rate.
We will accept fee assistance applications for 2023 throughout the month of June (June 1-30, 2023). Applications must be completed with the appropriate support documentation to be considered. Das Rec Management will review and process applications, award recipients will be notified the week of May 10th.
Award Periods for Membership
Das Rec will honor two award periods per fiscal year for financial assistance of memberships. Applications will be accepted in October of each year, for awards effective the week of November 10th and April of each year, for awards effective the week of May 10th.
Awards Periods for Programs
Das Rec will accept applications for financial assistance for youth volleyball and youth basketball leagues. Youth basketball applications will be accepted the month of October, for the league starting in January. Youth volleyball applications will be accepted the month of June, for the league starting in September.
