Take the family swimming, relax in the pool solo, or get in a great workout with lap swimming - all in one place. Our multi-functional aquatic area was built with all members of the community in mind. We house two pools, each with different goals in mind.

Leisure Pool

If it's a more relaxed swim you're looking for, join us in the leisure pool during open swim for a recreational swim free-for-all. Enjoy a leisure swim in a 5,700 square foot pool or take a turn on an indoor waterslide. Mini members in your family? Our interactive spray and play feature is great for younger children.

Don't let the name fool you, you can also get a great workout in at the Das Rec Leisure Pool. Designated adult exercise swim times are a great opportunity to utilize the resistance channel and 3-lane lap swim area in our leisure pool.

Competition Pool

Priority designated to Swim Teams - see schedule for "open to the public" times

Enjoy a 25-yard, 8-lane competition pool for your fitness swim needs. Kept at a comfortable 82 degrees year round, our competition pool is also utilized by Masters Swim in addition to New Braunfels High School Unicorn Swim Team and Surge Aquatics Club Team for practice and swim meets. Bleachers in this area offer seating for up to 200 people.
