Often times when people hear “functional training,” they think of bodybuilders and heavyweight lifters – but functional fitness is just as beneficial to those who don’t aspire to gain large muscles as it is to the heavy lifters. Functional training helps strengthen the muscles you use every day and can even prevent sprains or strains caused by everyday activities – like walking up a flight of stairs or carrying groceries from your car.
Das Rec has the functional fitness equipment you need to strengthen full body muscles. Our customized Escape Fitness octagon features various functional training elements. Our functional fitness area includes free weights, kettlebells, bench presses, back presses, lateral and chin pulls, and much more.
The Das Rec fitness floor features the following strength pieces:

Age restrictions: Das Rec Members ages 10-13 may use the Das Rec Fitness Floor when supervised by a parent or guardian. Members ages 14 years and older may use the Das Rec Fitness Floor unsupervised.
